Our Services
Jax Fingerprinting provides services that may include:

- Background screening-related fingerprint submissions

Service availability may vary depending on agency requirements, location, and appointment availability.
Appointments
Appointments may be required for certain services.
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate contact and appointment information
- Arriving on time
- Bringing required identification and documents
- Providing the correct ORI number or agency information when applicable
Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled depending on availability.
ORI Numbers & Agency Information
For services requiring an ORI number or agency-specific information, you are responsible for obtaining and providing the correct information before submission.
Jax Fingerprinting is not responsible for delays, rejected submissions, incorrect routing, or additional fees resulting from inaccurate ORI numbers or agency information supplied by the customer.
Identification Requirements
A valid government-issued photo ID may be required before services can be performed.
Additional documentation may be required depending on the requesting agency or service.
We reserve the right to decline service when required identification or documentation cannot be provided.
Fees & Payment
Service fees are disclosed at the time of booking, prior to service, or according to an established business agreement.
Payment may be required before or at the time services are provided unless another arrangement has been approved.
Additional fees may apply for:
- Mobile services
- Travel
- Evening or weekend appointments
- Urgent or same-day appointments
- Extended waiting time
- Additional notarial acts
- Printing, scanning, or other requested services
Business clients with approved billing arrangements may be invoiced according to agreed terms.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans may change.
Customers should provide as much notice as possible when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.
Certain services may be subject to cancellation fees, including appointments cancelled with insufficient notice, mobile appointments, or appointments requiring travel.
Applicable cancellation fees will be disclosed before booking or confirmation.
Fingerprint Submission & Results
Jax Fingerprinting captures and submits fingerprints according to the information provided by the customer and the requirements of the applicable agency.
We do not control:
- Government processing times
- Background-check results
- Agency decisions
- Licensing decisions
- Employment decisions
- Delays caused by government or third-party systems
We cannot guarantee how quickly an agency will process or return results.
Fingerprint Quality
We make reasonable efforts to capture fingerprints that meet applicable submission standards.
However, fingerprint quality may be affected by factors such as:
- Skin condition
- Scarring
- Age
- Injury
- Worn fingerprints
- Other physical conditions
If fingerprints are rejected by a receiving agency, additional fingerprinting may be required.
Any applicable resubmission policy or fees will be explained based on the circumstances.
Notary Services
Jax Fingerprinting may provide notary services where available.
Our notaries
- Verify identity as required by law
- Witness signatures or administer oaths when authorized
- Perform permitted notarial acts
We do not
- Provide legal advice
- Prepare legal documents
- Choose documents for customers
- Explain the legal effect of a document
Customers are responsible for ensuring their documents are complete and appropriate before notarization.
A notary may decline to perform a notarization when required by law or when proper identification, willingness, capacity, or other requirements are not satisfied.
Mobile Services
Mobile services may be available based on location and scheduling.
Mobile service fees may include:
- Travel charges
- Distance-based fees
- Waiting-time fees
- After-hours fees
- Special-location fees
Pricing will be confirmed before the appointment whenever possible.
Access delays at hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, jails, secured facilities, or other restricted locations may result in additional waiting fees.
Business Partnerships
Jax Fingerprinting may enter into separate agreements with businesses, employers, agencies, or organizations for recurring fingerprinting services.
Business partnerships may include:
- Discounted service rates
- Employee referrals
- Direct business invoicing
- Customized service arrangements
The terms of an individual business agreement will take precedence where they differ from these general Terms.
SMS & Electronic Communications
By providing your contact information and consenting to communications, you may receive appointment reminders, service updates, customer-support messages, or other communications from Jax Fingerprinting.
Text-message consent is governed by our SMS Terms & Disclosure.
Message and data rates may apply.
Privacy
Your use of our services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

- Agency decisions
- Incorrect information supplied by customers
- Third-party system failures
- Appointment delays beyond our reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
